Because of its closeness to forrests, rivers and the Baltic Sea, Lübeck has quite many activites to choose from for relaxation and leisure. After having finished your sightseeing tour, just head for one of the many green areas and parks in and around Lübeck.

If you like making walk tours, there are many footpaths in the expansive forrests around Lübeck. It is recommendable, however, to get a map of the ways before you start your tour.

Another possibility of spending your leisure time and relax, is a boat trip on the one of the rivers: the Trave and the Wakenitz. On the Trave, many boat trips go for example to Travemünde, where you can enjoy a day at the beach. The boats on the Wakenitz go as far as Rothenhusen.
