In Lübeck, there are many theaters offering plays for adults as well as for children.
Theater Lübeck
Productions of the "Theater Lübeck " are presented on four stages: "Großes Haus", "Kammerspiele", "Junges Studio" and the "Landschaftszimmer". Plays as well as dance theater, musicals and guest performances are performed here. In addition, classical concerts take place either in Lübeck's "Musik- und Kongresshalle" (Music and Congress Centre) as well as the stages of the "Theater Lübeck".
In 1977, the "Marionettentheater Fritz Fey" was established in a 16th century merchant's house in the historic city center of Lübeck. Since 2007, the "Figurentheater Lübeck" has been in this house located in the "Kolk" and the history of the "Marionettentheater Fritz Fey" is continued. In the theater, quite a variety of puppet plays is presented, including for example puppet theater, hand-puppet shows and shadow theater. This is not only a great pleasure for adults, but for children as well.
The MS Marine was bought in order to establish a theater ship on it. But the ship is not only a pleasure for watching plays: There are is also a cafe as well as a restaurant on it.
